Location

The Ashokan Center

Join us September 2-5 in Olivebridge, New York at a 385-acre nature preserve guaranteed to light up your writing life—an inspirational, eco-friendly campus nestled amidst waterfalls, meadows, and streams.

Are you a poet who always wanted to try your hand at songwriting? An essayist fascinated by the art of illustration? Perhaps you need some time for deep work dedicated to getting that manuscript done.

Powered by 100% solar energy and listed on the National Register of Historic Places, The Ashokan Center is an ideal place to retreat. The oldest environmental education center in the state, Ashokan means "place of many fishes" or "where waters converge.”
